You are invited to a rare opportunity to combine the Meditation practice of Tibetan Buddhism with a taste of Yoga. Lama Migmar Tseten, Spiritual Director of Cambridge Sakya Center, leads a 2-day retreat on Green Tara (The Saviouress). The practice of Green Tara helps to overcome fear and anxiety and eliminate suffering of all kinds. Tara brings happiness and can also grant wishes. Green Tara, when called upon, saves us from eight specific obscurations (defects or flaws): Pride, Delusion, Hatred, Envy, Fanatical Views, Avarice, Lust, and Demons/Doubts.
During the retreat we will focus on the Green Tara practice including the Green Tara Initiation Empowerment, meditation, visualization, mantra recitation and prayer. This is a great opportunity to make a connection with Green Tara for new practitioners or to renew and deepen your current Green Tara practice and meditation.
